David Thoms, a proud native of Georgia, has built a life centered around his passion for education, sports, and entrepreneurship. A graduate of the University of Georgia in 2009, David's ties to the university remain strong, with his wife, Haley, currently serving as a professor in accounting. The couple resides in Athens, GA, along with their two sons and beautiful daughter.

A Legacy of Athletic Achievement

During his time at UGA, David's athletic prowess shone through as a member of the 2008 SEC Championship and National runner-up baseball team. Prior to transferring to UGA, he was also a part of the 2007 Baseball Junior College National Championship team at Chipola College, cementing his legacy as a talented and dedicated athlete.

From the Baseball Diamond to the Silver Screen

David's talents extend beyond the baseball field. He even had a brief stint in the acting world, portraying "Enos Slaughter" in the blockbuster movie "42," which starred Harrison Ford and Chadwick Boseman.

David's entrepreneurial journey began during his college years when he founded Down.Set.Tailgate, a company that provided a full-service tailgating experience for fans. This venture showcased his innovative thinking and his ability to identify and fill a unique market need.
